Yo Tengo Gozo, Gozo, Gozo, Gozo, Gozo En Mi Corazon……

mexico_praying_webAfter returning from an outreach in Baja, Mexico, here is what Lana Brubacher, one of the team members had to say:

It’s always amazing to live out the verse that it is more blessed to give than to receive. It was our joy and blessing to build Fernando, Griselda and their two children, Fredi and Itsel, a new home. Their previous home was made up of one room that was pieced together with boards, cardboard and black plastic. Our team of 21 consisted of some real genuine servants with humble hearts and hard-working hands. I was constantly touched to see the team’s joy spilling over even in the scorching Mexico heat.  After four days, the 440-square-foot wooden home was completed, along with an outhouse and a small shower house. Handing the key to the home over to Fernando and Griselda was a priceless privilege, and even though our purpose was to give, we came home more filled than when we left.
