Our Wednesday night children’s Bible program is currently led by Lar White for 1st - 5th grade.  

 

 

 

NURSERY

Childcare is available for all children ages  0-2 on Sunday mornings during Sunday school as well as during regular church service. It is also available to anyone who needs it during other events such as Bible studies, council meetings, and even fun events such as baby showers. Just let the church office know in advance if you need it. We’re happy to take care of it - your little ones are important to us!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL We also offer Sunday school on Sunday mornings at 9:15.   Julie Hall teaches K - 1st graders, and Diana Corey teaches 2nd - 4th graders.  

 

CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Welcome to children’s church, Kindergarten to 5^thgrade, at Hockinson Community Church! After the children participate in worship with their families on Sunday morning, they are invited over to the fellowship hall for an action-filled, life-changing time of getting to know God through His Word and practical life application. Each Sunday, a biblical principle and truth is taught to the children. These truths are presented and instilled with the help of friendly puppets, creative skits, and object lessons. Each week the children are taught a Bible verse that they are encouraged to practice during the week. Points are earned every Sunday by reciting the memory verse, attendance, bringing your Bible, and bringing a friend. Later in the school year, the points are redeemed at our children’s church store. We have one head teacher, Lana Brubacher, and an awesome staff of 6^th to 12^th graders who serve and help facilitate all the activities. Our heart is that each child feels loved, cared for, and valued as they become rooted and grounded in God’s word and love.

 

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN’S CHURCH

We also provide children’s church for pre-school-aged children, provided by Amy Rossing (pictured below) as well as other pre-school facilitators.
