Upon their return from Retreat at Twin Rocks this year, our youth had a strong message to share. “You’re never too young for God to use you right where you are!” Lives were changed, not just amongst our teens but amongst our adult chaperons as well. One common thread of spiritual growth that was shared was that they were given a helpful tool for studying The Word. It was a time of growth, fellowship, and yes, a few pranks along the way. See you next year!
Beginning Sept. 12th, we’ll return to our regular schedule. We’ll meet for Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., and worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. We’ll kick off the year with a series entitled Christ Followers. The Sunday school teachings will correlate with the sermons. Check back on our “Current Teachings” page as more details surface!

HCC is one of many outlets working with Battle Ground Public Schools to help with this very worthy project. We’re asking for your help to provide school items for needy children! This one-day event will help provide school supplies, immunizations, community resources and gently used clothing. These items will be disbursed on North County School Readiness Day on Friday, 8/27, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. or while supplies last. If you plan to attend this event, be sure to pre-register so you get there early! Last year, 944 students were helped with needed school supplies; this year, twice as many are expected. To see a list of needed donations, click on donation list . To find out how to pre-register for this event, as well as find out about other resources available, click on 2010 School Readiness Flier.
